WHY ME?

If you are a victim of bullying I know exactly what you are thinking, I have been there thinking the same myself. Different generation, Different Questions and no answers…

Am I a bad person? Am I different? Am I boring?

A bad person? No definitely not. Different? Maybe, but doesn’t different make the world a much more interesting place. You definitely won’t be boring, a majority of bullying occurs because they are jealous of you and want to belittle you in front of everyone else to make themselves look good.

Reasons why a bully targets their victim

• Jealousy is the top factor of bullying.

• Your Weight, height or your looks

• Your Religion, colour or culture

• The Colour of your hair

• Your Family

• Your schoolwork

• If your dyslexic

• If you are popular

• If you work hard

• If you wear glasses or a hearing aid

• If you are new to the school

• A different accent

• If you have dyslexia or dyspraxia

• If you’ve been of school due to an illness

• Your hobbies

Dumb reasons aren’t they? Bullies generally have a low self esteem and they find different intimidating, which is why they will then single you out for their punishment. Remember, the whole world can’t be the same, for instance if your bullied because you like computers and designing programs. If you didn’t who would be the one who is designing future programs? Lets face it, in the 21 st century everything relies on computers.
